This is Precisions new Billet wheel 6262 ball bearing turbo or as AMS sells it as the 850R turbo. Good for 850HP note the 850R name that AMS sells it under as they add a few things to make it a little extra special ;) The car currently is making 707AWHP 508TQ at 34psi on E85 fuel and is daily driven as im sure some of you know that have kept up with my EVO project. I can go to 48-50PSI on this turbo and i have the engine, drivetrain etc to do so.... Should make very close to if not over 800WHP
Loving this turbo so far!! And yes thats right I run the car on cheap corn fuel for flex fuel cars. E85 has been proven time and time again to make more power then VP C16 race fuel which is 14$ a gallon. C16 race fuel is what I USED to run that is blended specifically for high HP turbo charged engines. If you know how to tune E85 "which i do VERY WELL" this fuel is POTENT!!!! It takes A LOT of fuel system to run E85 at high HP as it requires about 30% or so more fuel supply. But Ethanol/E85 makes some serious power when tuned correctly!! I run 1450cc injectors and twin 255lph fuel pumps, AMS fuel rail etc on the car. Tuned by an AEM engine management system by yours truely of course. No stock ECU anymore
OK enough of the novel and rambling.. Here is a video of the car on start up. I took a video of the turbo so you can see the beautiful Billet compressor wheel and the crazy spin down of the ball bearing cartridge turbo from idle which is 1100RPM. This is car porn for me lol.
PS. Yes the valve train is pretty noisey and its supposed to be. The camshafts are VERY aggressive in this car and thats a by product of it
